Upon completion of this course, attendees will be better equipped to manage the essential day-to-day responsibilities of an office manager within a service-based business. This comprehensive, in-depth training covers office operations, communication strategies, scheduling and dispatch coordination, customer interactions, financial processes, process management, and supporting field teams. Participants will learn how to build effective office systems, improve workflow efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and create a more consistent customer experience. The course also explores accountability, documentation, problem solving, team communication, organizational structure, and practical tools that help offices run more smoothly and efficiently. Attendees will engage in discussions and real-world scenarios designed to strengthen processes, improve collaboration, and enhance overall business operations.
The National Chimney Sweep Guild offers virtual Office Manager Essentials classes throughout the spring and summer. Class will begin at 12:00 pm CT and end at 5:00 pm CT with a few 10-minute breaks throughout each day. Attendees should have lunch/snacks packed, as there won't be a full lunch break. A workbook and syllabus will be emailed prior to the class.
