Advocacy

NCSG Advocacy Overview

The NCSG advocates on behalf of chimney and venting professionals across the country. Our goal is to protect the future of the industry, promote responsible policies, and ensure the voices of our members are heard by lawmakers, regulators, and standards organizations. Through monitoring legislation, engaging with government agencies, and participating in national code and safety discussions, the NCSG works to create a strong, sustainable environment for chimney professionals and the communities they serve.

Advocacy ensures that chimney professionals have a seat at the table when decisions are being made. Without a coordinated voice, regulations can become burdensome, outdated, or unsafe. The NCSG fights to protect the industry, support member businesses, and promote safe hearth and venting practices nationwide.

If you have concerns about a law or policy change in the industry, please submit a policy inquiry using the button below.
