Mentor Connect Program

NCSG Mentor Connect

Having the right connections with the right people is a major key to professional success, but making new connections can be difficult, especially in a spread-out, national group of chimney professionals. That's where the NCSG Mentor Connect program comes in!

What is this program?

The National Chimney Sweep Guild Mentor Connect program helps members share knowledge and ideas while fostering a connected, helpful, and thriving chimney sweep community.

The program helps newer chimney sweeps gain expertise and build their professional network while also allowing a space for experienced members to share their wisdom and life lessons.

How does it work?

At least once per quarter, NCSG will facilitate a 2-hour Mentor Connect session. It's FREE for NCSG members and their employees to attend and takes place on Zoom, so you'll talk to chimney sweeps from all over the country. Ask questions, share ideas, and compare challenges in a casual setting.

When you register, we ask you to share a few topics that you'd like to discuss. Past topics have included marketing approaches, pricing strategies, hiring challenges, developing SOPs, etc.

Registration is required for each event to receive the Zoom link(s).

Am I eligible?

What is a featured mentor?

Each session includes a "featured mentor" to facilitate the discussion. Featured mentors have been in the industry for a long time and are widely regarded as experts in the field. Past featured mentors have included Mark Stoner, Anthony Valerio, Jim Leslie, and Alan Rush.

If you are interested in volunteering as a featured mentor for the next Mentor Connect event, please contact Brittney Burton at bburton@ncsg.org or 317-837-1500.
