For the leaders holding the chaos together behind the scenes, this year the National Chimney Sweep Guild has a new, in-depth course: Office Manager Essentials.
This class is for the person who is responsible for everything but often isn’t empowered with the training or structure to lead it well. Office Manager Essentials is designed to help office managers step into true operational leadership, using numbers, systems, and communication standards to stabilize the business.
In this class, we’ll teach clear tools for running weekly scorecards, creating consistency, improving communication and accountability between departments, and protecting profit through better coordination.
Office Manager Essentials is a one-day, virtual class held over Google Meet on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The day will begin at 8:00 am CT and end at 5:00 pm CT with a 30-minute lunch break and a few short breaks throughout the day.
The instructor for the class is Lauren Turnock on behalf of the National Chimney Sweep Guild. Lauren is the Head of Resources for Rooftop Chimney Sweeps in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
